UPDATE: Bank Robbery in North Webster







NORTH WEBSTER, Ind. (WOWO): Police along with FBI officials are currently investigating a bank robbery that happened this morning in North Webster.



Around 9:15, officers were notified of a robbery at the Key Bank located at Lance's New Market grocery store.

Bank officials told police that a thin, white man about 6 feet tall entered the bank and demanded cash.  He was also described as wearing a tan, full-length, cover-all, along with a dark colored, sweatshirt underneath with the hood pulled over his head. Officers also stated the suspect had on a dark colored ball cap, dark colored, sunglasses, along with a handkerchief covering his lower face. It also appeared that the suspect might have been wearing a potential mask of some type over his face.

The suspect ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash, and a K-9 unit has been brought to the scene.  No bank employees were injured during the robbery.
