UPDATE: Crews Battle Large Fire in Waterloo

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Several fire crews were on the scene of a massive fire on South Wayne Street in Waterloo.

According to our partners in news at NBC 33, a warehouse that sits adjacent to the railroad tracks in downtown Waterloo caught fire Thursday afternoon. The building has already suffered heavy smoke and fire damage.

A firefighter was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

The building was an antique shop many years ago. However, it has been vacant for several years.
