UPDATE: Fort Wayne Meth Lab Uncovered

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A suspected meth lab located in a home on Osage Street, has been discovered by Fort Wayne police.

According to police, meth making materials were found inside the home, along with four children, ranging in ages from 10 months to 4-years-old. Police also found 32-year-old Natalie Long of Fort Wayne inside the house.

The children were taken to the hospital to be checked for possible meth exposure and Long was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, illegal dumping of controlled waste, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia. She is being held on a $55,750 bond.

During the search, 23-year-old Danielle Brown came home and was arrested for child neglect, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.  Brown’s four children are now being placed into protective custody by the Department of Child Services.

The Allen County Board of Health also assisted with this investigation and condemned the home.
