UPDATE: Parents of Missing IU Student to Appeal a Federal Judge’s Ruling

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): The parents of missing IU student Lauren Spierer say they‘ll appeal a federal judge‘s ruling.

Judge Tanya Walton Pratt dismissed the Spierer‘s civil negligence lawsuit against Corey Rossman and Jason Rosenbaum. Robert and Charlene Spierer argued the two young men gave their daughter alcohol knowing she had already been drinking hours before she vanished in June 2011. But Rossman and Rosenbaum denied the allegations.

In a written statement, the Spierers attorney Jason Barclay says “I am heartbroken that the defendants and their team of defense lawyers will not allow the Spierers to get a simple question answered: What happened to their daughter that night? We will appeal and continue our pursuit of answers to that important question.”
