PAOLI, Ind. (AP): State police say a southern Indiana sheriff's deputy has been treated at a hospital after being struck by a car despite firing shots that wounded the driver and another man inside.
 
       Police say the chase started when Harrison County Deputy Michael Andry tried to stop the car about 2 a.m. Monday in the town of Palmyra. The car fled on U.S. 150 through part of Washington County and into Orange County, where the driver turned onto county roads until running into a dead end several miles south of Paoli.
 
       State police Sgt. Philip Hensley says men were apprehended by another officer behind Andry.
 
       Hensley says Andry suffered leg and back injuries. The car's driver was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and a passenger with hand wounds.
