WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Two suspects are in custody after running away from a mobile meth lab. Just before 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14th, police in Warsaw stopped to check on a disabled vehicle on the side of the road on County Road 100 East south of County Road 350 North. Two people were in the SUV and said they ran out of gas. When an officer called for help, the two took off running in different directions. Police say they found several items used in the manufacturing of meth in the abandoned vehicle.

A short time later the passenger, 51-year-old Trace Skinner, was located. He's being charged with a level 6 felony for unlawful possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine. He's being held at the Kosciusko County Jail on a $2,000 bond.

Meanwhile, around 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, the driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Jerron Turpen, was taken into custody following a tip that he was hiding in a van north of Warsaw in the North Riverwood Estates subdivision.
