UPDATED: Winter Weather Advisory Update

NORTH WEBSTER, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne may have missed a significant snowfall.  The National Weather Service has cancelled a winter weather advisory that covered Allen, Whitley, Huntington and Wabash Counties in Indiana, and Paulding County in Ohio.  They now say those areas will receive less than an inch of accumulations through Saturday night.

However Adams, Wells, Blackford, Jay and Grant Counties in Indiana and Van Wert County in Ohio are still under a Winter Weather Advisory until 7 p.m. tonight.

Periods of moderate snow are expected to develop in the overnight and continue through the afternoon in those counties south of Fort Wayne.  The system could bring with it 3 to 5 inches of snow.  Snow could lead to slick roads and reduced visibility.
