Warsaw Community Schools’ Superintendent, Invited to The White House

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Warsaw Community Schools' Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert has been selected by the U.S. Department of Education as one of the top 100 school leaders from across America to participate in the first ever National Connected Superintendents Summit this Wednesday at the White House.

The conference will bring the officials together, to share with one another and the Education Department, their promising approaches to using technology in classrooms.

Hoffert made a statement saying “Warsaw Community Schools have a special and unique story to tell and I feel fortunate that a part of my position is getting to share our story on a local, state, and national level.” In June of 2013, the White House announced the ConnectED Initiative, starting with a goal of connecting 99 percent of students to next-generation technology within five years.
