FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Hoosier veterans can get help from the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs in an outreach meeting this afternoon in Fort Wayne.

Officials say the event is for vets, active duty members and their families to connect with services and prospective employers.
The meeting also includes assistance with benefits, claims and college enrollment.

The event is free and last till 6:00pm today at Ivy Tech's Student Life Center on Dean Drive. That's on the former State Developmental Center campus.
