FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Vera Bradely Outlet sale is here, with more than 50 semi-trailers of handbags and accessories are supplying this year's five-day sale.

The doors open today and will close Sunday.

A local branch of the UAW has expressed interest in protesting outside the memorial coliseum today in response to the closing of Vera Bradley's New Haven factory.

Tickets for the first three days of the sale cost $5 each and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com, and for the weekend portion of the event, no ticket purchase is necessary.
