If you’re a Verizon Wireless customer you may have noticed your cell phone has been a bit quiet this morning. The company says a cut to a fiber optic cable has resulted in an interruption in service to some area customers and that they’re working to make repairs as we speak. There’s no estimate at this spoint as to how long the outage will last.
