FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of an early morning crash as 30 year old Timothy Heikes. An autopsy was performed and it was ruled that Heikes died of restrictive asphyxia due to being pinned by the vehicle.

(Our earlier story…)

New this morning, police are working on a fatal crash that happened around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Washington Center Road and Westcreek Boulevard.

There's no word on the events leading up to the crash that involves a car and a pickup truck.

Both vehicles sustained front end damage and the truck managed to roll on its side. Police say alcohol was a likely factor and Washington Center Road has since re-opened between Lima and Hillegas.
