INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Central Indiana turns cooler and drier Thursday, with morning temperatures much lower than earlier this week.
Rain chances return Friday as clouds move in through the day. Showers could impact Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, especially Friday evening and overnight.
A few showers may linger early Saturday, but most of the day looks dry with highs in the mid-70s.
Forecasters are also watching Indy 500 Race Day Sunday. Dry weather is possible early before scattered afternoon showers move in with a cold front. Highs should reach the upper 70s.
