WELLS COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that happened late Monday night in Wells County that resulted in a 39-year-old New Haven man losing his life.

Around 9:30 p.m., Dennis Summers was driving westbound on US 224 near County Road 700 E when his vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a concrete embankment, sending the vehicle airborne. The vehicle reportedly landed on its top.

It is believed that alcohol was a factor in the crash, and toxicology results are pending.
