BRYAN, OH (WOWO) The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious injury crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of U.S. 127 and U.S. 6 in Williams County. Troopers from the Defiance Post say the crash occurred at approximately 8:56 p.m. Thursday in Pulaski Township, closing the northbound lanes of U.S. 127 for nearly three hours.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2018 Nissan Altima driven by 52-year-old James M. Hays of Pioneer was traveling southbound on U.S. 127 when Hays failed to yield while making a left turn. A northbound 2005 Pontiac Vibe driven by 46-year-old Clint P. Krill of Ney struck the vehicle.

Troopers say Hays, Krill, and a front-seat passenger, 39-year-old Jamie L. Nash of Stryker, all sustained serious injuries. All three were transported by Williams County EMS to Parkview Hospital in Bryan. Krill and Nash were later flown from Parkview to hospitals in Toledo for further treatment.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
