HOWARD COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — A Howard County woman has died from what investigators believe was accidental carbon monoxide poisoning.

The Coroner’s Office says 45-year-old Lacy Leigha Alexander was found dead inside a pole barn on Friday.

Authorities believe she had been using a gas-powered pressure washer at the time, which likely led to the buildup of deadly fumes.

There’s no indication of foul play, but the final cause of death is still pending toxicology results.
