Woman Hurt, Two Arrested After Disruption During Speech By LG Micah Beckwith

WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — He was addressing a crowd at the Ohio Township Trustee Office.

The incident began when a woman in the crowd shouted profanities and refused to leave.

She pushed a deputy and was taken into custody, while a man who tried to intervene was also arrested.

Another woman was injured during the commotion and taken to the hospital.

Beckwith later addressed the incident on Facebook, saying he welcomed debate but called the behavior “uncivil.”
