LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A 25-year-old woman was sent to the hospital after a buggy and van crashed on Friday morning.

A buggy was traveling south on CR 250 approaching US 20 in Lagrange County at about 7 a.m. when the horse pulling the buggy started acting out of control, according to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department.

The buggy pulled into the westbound lane of US 20. A van then crashed into the buggy and the buggy rolled over.

The woman in the buggy was treated at Parkview LaGrange hospital for head and leg injuries.
