19-year-old Grabill man killed in buggy crash

GRABILL, Ind. (WOWO): A third person has died after a Nov. 20 hit-and-run crash involving a horse-and-buggy and pickup truck.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office tells WOWO News that 19-year-old John Graber of Grabill died at about 2 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26 at an area hospital. Graber was a passenger in a buggy that was hit by a pickup truck at the intersection of Notestine Road and SR 37 in New Haven on Nov. 20.

Two other passengers in the buggy, one an 18-year-old woman and the other a 16-year-old girl, died in the crash.

Police are still looking for the driver of the truck.
