INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Two men being sued by the parents of an Indiana University student who disappeared after a party are opposing her parents' request that a federal judge exclude “sensitive and private information'' from the case.

Lawyers for Corey Rossman and Jason Rosenbaum filed the documents Tuesday in federal court in Indianapolis.

The parents of Lauren Spierer filed the request last month. The 20-year-old Greenburgh, N.Y., native disappeared in June 2011 after a night of partying with friends in Bloomington.

The lawsuit claims Rossman and Rosenbaum gave her alcohol and didn't make sure she returned safely to her apartment safely.

The men's attorneys say the Spierers don't specific what types of information they want protected.

A phone message seeking comment from the family's attorney wasn't immediately returned Wednesday.
