$3 Million Request Approved for Downtown Riverfront Project

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Capital Improvement Board has granted a $3 million request for the downtown riverfront development.

According to the Journal Gazette, that money is part of a $12 million budget for the first phase of the project.

The council is expected to vote next Thursday on $3 million donation from the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne a $6 million Legacy Fund request.

So Far, the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne has raised about $300,000.
