Harris Corporation adds jobs to Fort Wayne thanks to NASA

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Harris Corporation is hiring at least 20 people because of a $316 million contract from NASA.


The contract also included building two weather satellite payloads for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, according to a Kristin P. Jones, a Harris Corporation spokesperson.

The company in Fort Wayne makes communication radios used by the military.


Currently the company employs about 23,000 people throughout 125 countries.
