FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Renovations are in the works for Bishop Luers High School.

Tuesday school officials unveiled a $4 million dollar project that will add a new chapel, performing arts assembly hall, media center and library and upgrading to energy efficient facade and windows.

Campaign chairman and local businessman Jerry Henry said its a big deal because it's an anchor on the south side – an unappreciated area in the city.

School officials hope to start by next summer. $2.7 million dollars of the campaign already has been pledged.
