NAACP leader calls for FWPD to release body cam footage

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne’s NAACP president is calling for police to release the bodycam footage after a fatal shooting on PFW’s campus Tuesday.

31-year-old Gawon Benson has been identified as the man who fled DeKalb County where he was set to serve an 80-day misdemeanor sentence.

Rev. Saharra Bledsoe called the killing a “murder” of a young black man and demanded justice. She says the community deserves an explanation.

The shooting still remains under investigation.

She is just another race baiter running her mouth before all the facts are in. The silence will be deafening if bodycam footage shows the perp pointing a gun at the police. The vast majority of police involved shootings are justified, but that never stops the grifters from running their mouths and ginning up anger.

If you comply, you won’ die.

It’s really just that simple.

Now, with the release of the footage, i hope Rev. Saharra Bledsoe can rest easier.
Jumping to conclusions cause a lot of undue stress and accusations, which needn’t be fanned, prior to a complete investigation.

Hopefully, she can cleanse the hearts & thoughts, soured by her words.
I pray, that she can pray, for this.
