Ossian Fire Damages Insulation Company

OSSIAN, Ind. (WOWO):  A warehouse holding newspapers caught on fire early Thursday morning.

The fire started at Energy Control, an Ossian insulation manufacturer.  The Journal Gazette reports two warehouses contained up to 1,000 tons of newspapers used to produce insulation.  Luckily no one was injured.

The fire was said to be held to the two warehouses, however other parts of the business were also damaged.  They say it's bad timing, as this is the season when insulation is needed the most.  However up to 50 semi loads of soggy newspaper will now have to be disposed of instead of processed.

The report also states that the building will need to be rewired, on top of finding new warehouse space.
