AUBURN, Ind. (AP) _ A northeastern Indiana woman who pleaded guilty to practicing midwifery without a license has been sentenced to one year of probation.
 
  A DeKalb Superior Court judge on Monday also ordered Barbara Mae Parker of St. Joe to stop practicing midwifery until she has a valid license or certificate from the state of Indiana.
 
  Parker had pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor counts of practicing midwifery without a license.
 
  The Star of Auburn reports that Parker received a 180-day suspended sentence on each count, was fined $500 and was ordered to pay court costs.
 
  Parker was accused of practicing midwifery without a license in the prenatal care or delivery of four infants in August 2012. Two of those infants ultimately died.
