Home Invasion Robbery on Kensington

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man and his infant were targeted in a home invasion robbery Wednesday on Kensington Blvd.

Around 6 p.m., the home owner told police, he found an armed black man in his kitchen. The suspect told the man everything would be okay if he cooperated.

Police say the bandit made off with a truck, guns and credit cards.

During the robbery, the suspect barricaded the man and his 10 month-old baby into a closet and went through the home looking for cash. After 45 minutes, the home owner was able to work himself free.

The bandit is described as a very well built, taller, black man, in his late 20s to early 30s.  The robber was wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
