FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to an apartment fire this morning at 9:12 A.M. When they got to the scene, crews found smoke and fire showing from the first and second floors of apartment 6060 Twin Oaks on Turtle Creek Drive. Extra crews were called to the scene because of the potential of the fire to spread and life hazards. Crews contained the fire to the apartment and attic. The fire was under control in a half hour. Everyone inside was able to get out on their own. The cause of fire was ruled an accidental cooking fire.
