IN Has One of Biggest Drops in Gas Prices in Past Week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The average price of gasoline has dropped to just over $3.00 a gallon here in Fort Wayne! That's thanks to an almost 20 cent drop in the last week. The national average was just over a five cent decrease.  According to analyst Patrick DeHaan with www.gasbuddy.com, gas prices are many places are the lowest they've been February of 2011. Almost 15 percent of stations in the country are selling gas under $3 a gallon, whereas a year ago, only 1 percent of stations were selling at that price. Indiana is one of the top 3 states that saw the biggest drops in the last week.
