Huntington County Educator, Coach Charged

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WOWO): A long-time Huntington educator and Hall of Fame track coach is in legal trouble.

Former Huntington County Community Schools teacher and part-time Huntington University instructor Don Cotton, is charged with sexual battery, a felony.

He’s also facing three other misdemeanor battery counts. According to news partner, 21Alive, a warrant has been issued.

The school system issued a new trespass order against Cotton after an incident in August. Cotton resigned this fall after coaching more than 40 years.
