FORT WAYNE (WOWO): A Fort Wayne restaurant was opened Friday after being closed by a health inspector.

Red Rok Saloon was temporarily closed Thursday after department of health inspectors found pest droppings and dead mice inside the establishment, according to the Journal-Gazette. 

The newspaper report also indicated food packages had chew holes from mice.  Restaurant officials say they were in the process of correcting the problem when the inspector arrived to review the facility.

The follow-up inspection Friday found the issues had been corrected and owners were allowed to re-open.
