Angola Residents Lose All Belongings in Early Morning House Fire

ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO): Four Angola residents lost all of their belongings in an early morning fire on Friday. Fire crews were called to a home on E. Metz Road around 3:00 A.M. where they found a 2-story house fully engulfed in flames and power lines down and arcing on a vehicle, causing the vehicle to also catch fire. There were four people inside, but they escaped uninjured. It’s unknown at this time what caused the fire. There were smoke detectors, but they did not activate.
