Heart Attack Sparks DeKalb County Crash

WATERLOO, Ind. (WOWO): Authorities say a man suffering a heart attack crashed into a home Saturday morning in Waterloo.

Around 7:15 a.m. Saturday, 39-year old Kent Fell of Waterloo struck a tree at his brother and sisters home on Grant Street.

Fell told police he was driving his GMC Yukon southbound on the street when he started to feel ill. Then seconds later, he drove left of center into the yard slamming into the tree. 

Damage to the tree and the truck was estimated at $5,000 to $10,000. Fell was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital.
