FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It's Friday the 13th, but with the Allen County SPCA, you may be in luck. They're partnering with The Hoosier Lottery to encourage black cat adoptions today. The first 13 people who adopt a black cat will receive a prize package from the Hoosier Lottery valued at $50. SPCA officials say it's a way for superstitious people to do away with their old notions about black cats being unlucky and come to the shelter. Adopters who don't find the perfect cat today will receive a coupon for a free lottery ticket.
