Warsaw Man Charged With Burglary From Funeral Home

MILFORD, Ind. (WOWO): A Warsaw man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a funeral home in Kosciusko County.

Suspicious activity around 6:44 a.m. Tuesday morning lead police to 19 Year old James Grindle of Warsaw. It's reported Grindle caused a disturbance outside the Katie's Kwik Mart convenience store in Leesburg and headed north. 15 minutes later he was later spotted at Mishler Funeral Home in Milford, and when police arrived they found the motorcycle along with a broken window.

Grindle emerged from the broken window and taken into custody. Deputies say he was attempting to steal children's DVD movies and he's charged with felony burglary and being held in the Kosciusko County Jail.

Police also obtained a search warrant to a blood draw from Grindle for drug and alcohol because of his reported erratic behavior. Those results are still pending.
