Two Injured In Noble County After Woman Runs Red Light

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two people were injured after a woman ran a red light in Noble County.

The crash happened north of Avilla at State Road 3 and State Road 8. Around 5:50 p.m. 40 year old Sarah E. Marker of Albion was driving eastbound on State Road 8 and ran a red light, into the path of 34 year old Kerry Lee Nelson Jr. of Fort Wayne.

Nelson struck Marker in the front of the car. Both were wearing a seat belt, and both had complaints of chest pains. Nelson also said she had a neck pain and was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Marker was transported to Parkview Noble in Kendallville and cited for disregarding an automatic signal.
