Father Charged with Child Neglect, Back in Court due to Probation Violation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Robert Boyko, the father who pleaded guilty to seven counts of child neglect, was back in court Monday afternoon, due to a probation violation.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Boyko made threats to harm certain unnamed individuals if his seven kids were taken away. Boyko allegedly showed up to his hearing Monday, without an attorney. He was told to come back with one on September 23rd. Meanwhile, he's currently being held in police custody.

In January 2014, Boyko and 41-year-old Mariana Clark pleaded guilty to seven counts of child neglect. Authorities found their seven children, ranging from newborn to 14-years-old in a filthy Fort Wayne Hotel room, not dressed for the below-zero weather.
