VAN WERT, Ohio (WOWO): There's a new contract for teachers in Van Wert Schools.

This week the school board approved a three-year deal with the union.

According to the Van Wert Times-Bulletin, teachers get a 1 percent raise this year. It jumps up to 2 percent the final two years.

The previous contract expired in August.
