House Fire on Brandiff Drive Sends One Firefighter to the Hospital

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne fire crews were called to an overnight fire at a home on Brandiff Drive.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 1:46 a.m., Sunday morning. Once on they scene they found a fire coming from the first floor of the home. Four people were able to get out of the home before fire crews arrived. However, two cats were rescued.

One firefighter received minor injuries and was treated and released from a local hospital. Meanwhile the home suffered moderate damage.
