FedEx, UPS and USPS Warning Consumers about Fraudulent E-Mails

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Officials with FedEx, UPS and USPS are warning consumers about fraudulent e-mails regarding “failed package delivery.”

The e-mails suggest that you have a package, but the delivery didn't make it. The message then advises you to click on a link so you can claim your package. However, the fraudulent e-mail may have an attached file that contains a virus or other malware that allows hackers to pull anything they want off of your computer.

If you receive an e-mail matching this description, do not click any links, download any attachments or reply to the sender.
