Firefighters Pull Woman from St. Joseph River

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A woman was pulled from the St. Joseph river on Monday night, after firefighters found her unconscious and laying face down on the ice.


Emergency crews responded to the bridge on E. State Boulevard near Spy Run around 9 p.m.

According to the Journal Gazette, firefighters were able to pull her to the riverbank and get her into an ambulance.

Police have not released the woman's identity or her condition.
