FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Firefighters needed about 10 minutes to bring a house fire under control this morning on the city's northeast side.

Just before 10 a.m., units were sent to the home on Woodtrail Court, that's just off Maplecrest Road.

The sustained heavy smoke and water damage, but were able to contain the fire to one bedroom.

A teen and a pet who were home, but both made it out.
