HOWE, Ind. (WOWO): Just before 11 p.m. Monday, officials in LaGrange County were searching for a wanted man at Pioneer Trailer Park on N State Rd 9 after receiving a tip that the suspect may have been in one of the lots. When officers approached a trailer door, they noticed a man, later identified as Richard Gartin Jr., through the window trying to hide items in a chair he was sitting in. They searched the residence and found a bag of meth and drug paraphernalia. The wanted suspect was not found, but Gartin was taken into custody and faces a number of charges.
