Indiana AG Zoeller Orders Fort Wayne Family Dollar To Be Sold

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller is requiring a Fort Wayne Family Dollar store to be sold.

It's part of a settlement that Indiana and 16 other states have made following a review of Dollar Tree's proposed acquisition of Family Dollar.

Dollar Tree is required to sell over 300 Family Dollar stores to Sycamore Holdings to ensure competition.

The Fort Wayne Family Dollar store that is ordered to be sold to Sycamore is located on Decatur Road and is between Lafayette and Paulding. When the sale is complete, it will be rebranded as DollarExpress.

Two Family Dollar stores in Gary and two in Indianapolis are also ordered to be sold and become DollarExpress stores.
