#1 Hoosiers Upset By Illini 74-72

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) _ It appears the No. 1 ranking in The Associated Press men’s basketball poll will change hands for the sixth consecutive week following Indiana’s 74-72 loss at Illinois. Tyler Griffey hit an uncontested layup at the buzzer to complete Illinois’ game-ending, 13-2 run. D.J. Richardson had 23 points for the Illini, who were just 2-7 in the Big Ten and trailed by double digits most of the second half. Christian Watford, Cody Zeller, Jordan Hulls and Will Sheehey all scored in double figures for the Hoosiers.
