Hundreds Gather For Walk To End Alzheimer’s

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Hundreds of people gathered at Parkview Field Saturday for the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Participants chose one- or two-mile routes while carrying Promise Flowers representing their connection to the disease.

Organizers hoped to raise $290,000 for Alzheimer’s research and support services.

As of Saturday afternoon, more than $208,000 had been raised.

Fundraising continues through the end of the year.
