In a rain shortedned home opener, the Fort Wayne TinCaps shut out Lake County 4-0 in Midwest League baseball at Parkview Field last night. Joe Ross was outstanding in 5 innings of work for the Caps, giving up just 1 hit, walking 1 and striking out 8 picking up his 2nd win of the young season. Dane Phillips had 2 hits and Luis Tejada drove in a couple for Fort Wayne in the victory. Same 2 teams tonight in a 7:05 first pitch.
