Habitat Plan Okayed

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Allen County Plan Commission has approved a plan by Habitat for Humanity to build a $10 million dollar, 120 home sub-division on West Cook Road near Huguenard. According to the Journal-Gazette, the homes would cost up to 116 thousand dollars each. Neighbors voiced their concerns saying it would lower their property value and could spark other issues because of the nature of Habitat’s clients.  Leaders with the not-for-profit organization say, historically that’s not the case locally.
