IPFW Beats North Dakota State in College Hoops

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) _ Luis Jacobo scored 20 points and IPFW was near perfect from the free throw line in beating North Dakota State 82-71 in a Summit League conference opener for both schools on Thursday night at the Gates Center. the dons were 20 of 21 from the free throw line on the evening. Steve Forbes added 14 for IPFW, who ran their overall record to 13-5. IPFW's women's team made it a doubleheader sweep, beating North Dakota State 98-89 in double OT as Amanda Hyde hit for 35.
