Anderson Police Investigate Shooting of 2 Horses

Police in Anderson are looking into the shooting of two horses on Wednesday. Detectives say the owner reported that his 3-year old gelding was shot to death and a 6-year old mare with a gunshot wound. Both horses were taken to Purdue where the mare is listed in serious but stable condition. Investigators say they have no motive, but believe the shootings were intentional.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Anderson CrimeStoppers.
